Log in to squareup.com → Account menu → Developer Dashboard

Create an application or select an existing one

Credentials tab → Copy your Access Token (Production)

Check the permissions:

✓ Payments: Read ✓ Orders: Read ✓ Items: Read

⚠️ Important: Never enable "Write" permissions. Read-only access is all that's needed.

Click Create a new API key

Name it "Serveo" and select:

Copy the generated key immediately

💡 Tip: Save the key straight away — Lightspeed only shows it once.

Add Partner → Custom Integration → Name it "Serveo"

Generate and copy your Client ID and Client Secret

Client ID: toast-xxxxxxxx-xxxx
Client Secret: ts_xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
